Barcelona Sports Bar
The George & Dragon is was popular with sports fans both residing in and visiting Barcelona. Its coverage is extensive, including all live Premiership games, and the pub features one of the biggest screens and best projection systems in Barcelona that helps create a unique atmosphere on those big occasions. We were big fans of it!
Barcelona Football – Live Premiership
The George & Dragon screens every live Premiership game shown on Sky Sports and Premiership Plus, and also every England international. Most Saturdays we also screen a live Spanish game on local satellite. FA Cup, League Cup, and all Champions League games are also shown, as well as select Scottish Premier League games and internationals.
NFL and NBA in Barcelona
The George & Dragon is also home to a growing number of NFL supporters, and during the NFL season we screen two games every Sunday from 7pm on. Every year we host our own Superbowl party, with genuine American style snacks like buffalo wings and hot dogs available to our customers.
Other televised sports
We also screen all the usual big events, including all rugby internationals, rugby league games, the major events in horse racing, Wimbledon and cricket. If there is some event you want to see, please call us and we’ll see what we can do for you – usually we’ll be able to screen it.
